Due to continued growth and exciting developments internally our client is currently recruiting for a qualified accountant to join their finance team in an operationally focused management accounting position.

Working closely with the head of department, this position will suit someone who has previous experience working in a fast-paced multi-divisional environment, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Duties will be varied and will include

Production of monthly management accounts for operational sites
Labour analysis
Consolidation accounting
Production of budgets and forecasts
Development divisional P&L
Cost centre reporting
Preparation of monthly financial reports
Cap Ex review and analysis
Assisting with the mentoring of more junior members of the team
Ad hoc analysis and project work

This role will suit a post-qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA accountant with experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.

As you will be working across sites with operational stakeholders, the role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interpret and communicate information across diverse levels of knowledge.

Advanced Excel skills are essential as is the ability to work to challenging deadlines with a constant eye on how processes can be improved and value added from a finance perspective.

The position requires someone with a hands-on approach but also the ability to look at the bigger picture.

This is a site-based role based in Huntingdon and there will be occasional travel to sites.
