Part-Time Credit Controller
South Cambridge
Part-Time 3 days a week, initially on a 6 month fixed term contract
Hybrid working - 2 days in office (Tuesday and Thursday) and 1 working from home. 5 shorter days may be considered, but Tuesday and Thursday will still need to be in office days.
Salary up to £35,000 (pro rata)

They pride themselves on fostering a positive work environment that values work-life balance and personal growth. As they continue to expand, they're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their finance team on a part-time basis.
Duties will include:
- Manage and oversee the collection of customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and minimising outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments and liaise with clients to resolve any payment issues.
- Work closely with the finance team to report on debtor status and develop strategies for reducing aged debt.
- Conduct regular credit checks and monitor credit limits to mitigate financial risk.
- Work with a third party collection agency as and when necessary
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in credit control with a customer centric approach
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and internal teams.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
