The Accountancy and Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our reputable client based in Northampton. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing and maintaining the purchase ledger system, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions. This is a 6 month FTC position.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Process supplier invoices and obtain necessary authorisations.
  • Prepare and issue payments in a timely manner.
  • Perform statement reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Resolve queries related to supplier accounts and payments.
  • Handle nominal payments with precision.
  • Conduct spreadsheet analysis and reconciliations.
  • Contribute to finance-related projects as required.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong understanding and experience of purchase ledger processes, including experience with fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Good attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work independent as well as in a team
