Jenni Brown
What I love most about recruitment, and the reason I've stayed in the industry for more than two decades, comes down to three things: people, challenge and variety.
I particularly love the roles that others see as impossible to fill. Give me a quirky, niche brief or a position that requires finding a needle in a haystack, and I'm in my element. There's something incredibly satisfying about uncovering that perfect candidate that nobody else has been able to find.
The fast-paced nature of temporary and interim recruitment is another reason I've remained so passionate about what I do. No two days are ever the same. The variety, urgency and constant problem-solving keep every day interesting, and I thrive on helping clients find solutions when they need support quickly.
What surprises some people, and even me, is that the novelty and reward of successfully placing a role and receiving a genuine thank you from a client or candidate, has never worn off and that sense of achievement is just as rewarding today as it was when I first started. The day that feeling disappears is probably the day I'll stop recruiting.
At The Weekend You Will Find Me
Spending time with my family – my daughter and Border Terrier keep me very busy! When I’m not running around after them, you'll usually find me in the home gym, lost in a good book, catching up on a true crime documentary, or enjoying the outdoors. I love long walks, riverside strolls and the occasional kayaking adventure, but I'm equally happy curled up at home with a gripping book or a fascinating true crime series.
