I started my career in retail, after 14 years of working my way up the ladder from Sales Assistant to Store Manager, I am proud to say I left retail on a high. I ran a flagship store and great team for 10 of the 14 year and absolutely loved it. With the sad realisation of the shrinking high street, I decided to take a leap into a new career.
I can’t say I knew exactly what I wanted my next challenge to be, all I knew is I wanted to stay in a role that continued to be person focused and found myself in recruitment. My recruitment journey started 2022 in a small recruitment office in Cambridge, working with mental health professionals. After 2 years learning and developing within the recruitment world, I decided recruitment was for me but not the sector.
I have now been lucky enough to join the wonderful team at The ONE Group, as a retirement consultant, recruiting permanent office support professionals in Waterbeach, Newmarket and Ely.
In my down time you will find me tending to my many, much loved pets, my amazing dog, 5 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, a tortoise and 2 gold fish. If I am not with my mini farm, I like to spend my time out walking in nature or to the local pub on a sunny day.
