Are you an experienced Manual Machinist who enjoys hands-on, precision engineering work?

We’re working with an established and growing business, supplying specialist products to customers across a range of high-tech and scientific industries.

They’re looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join their workshop team. This is a varied, hands-on role where your experience with manual lathes and milling machines will be put to good use, producing specialist components to customer specifications.

What you will be doing:

• Setting up and operating manual lathes and milling machines

• Manufacturing components to engineering drawings and specifications

• Working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality finished products

• Inspecting finished components to ensure accuracy and quality

• Using other workshop equipment as required

• Working as part of a small team, sharing knowledge and supporting day-to-day workshop activities

What we are looking for:

• Strong, proven experience operating manual lathes and milling machines. This is essential.

• A good understanding of machining techniques and workshop practices

• Ability to work accurately and produce components to specification

• Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work

• A practical, flexible approach and willingness to learn
